Selling

Sequences

Timed, multi-step outreach that keeps in touch with a prospect while you focus on the rest of your day.

What a sequence is

A sequence is a series of outreach steps with time gaps between them, for example an email on day one, a follow-up on day three and another touch a week later. You enroll a contact once, and the sequence keeps the cadence going, so every prospect hears from you on time.

Setting one up

Build the sequence and its steps, then enroll contacts. Sequence content goes through an approval step before it sends, so every message that goes out is one your leadership has signed off on.

  • Messages go out through your own connected mailbox (Settings › Connections), so replies land in your inbox like any other email.
  • A daily send cap keeps your mailbox reputation healthy.
  • Watch active enrollments on the Active view, and take a contact out of a sequence at any time, for example once they book a meeting.

Good to know

Connect your mailbox in Settings › Connections before you enroll contacts, so every email step goes out as planned.
